I just want to take a minute to thank April S. and her bible study for their VERY GENEROUS donation of items for my ministry. I feel extremely blessed and I cannot thank you all enough! I feel so very loved and supported. By donating these items to me and this ministry you have encouraged me and filled up my hope tank for this ministry! I feel like this ministry is actually real. Not some website I created to share my thoughts. It is a real ministry and we can make a difference in this world in simple ways.
Again, THANK YOU! Thank you for supporting my dreams and this ministry. We can change the world and further God's Kingdom TOGETHER!!!! :) THANK YOU!!

For Uniquely Gorgeous, I usually send handmade earrings to domestic abuse and homeless shelters. Today I did something a little different. A bunch of pink beads and breast cancer ribbon charms were graciously donated to J313M (Thanks Melissa!!) so I made bracelets and earrings for the ladies at the local cancer center! I really hope that the women that receive these, are blessed and that they know that someone loves them. Someone cares about them. Someone is praying for them. Because someone is. <3
Today, I was given the opportunity to bring these packs of snacks to the teachers at our local school. Two of my brothers have special needs and they have aids at school. So we gave this basket to one of their aids to bring to the Special Ed room. Teachers work hard but teachers who spend every day with kids with special needs, work even harder. So this was a simple way that I could make even just one person smile. :) So easy, so simple.
Looking for a simple way to bless your neighbors? And do they have dogs? Then I got an idea for you!! I made homemade dog treats (Only three ingredients!!!!), dog toys (fleece braided together) and put in a little bag, added a note, and done. A super, simple, and fun way to show God's love. <3 Did you make treats and/or toys for your neighbor or friend with dogs? I'd love to know!!! Comment below!! :) Thank you!
Tonight I had the opportunity to go the Library and spread some sticker cheer to children! I hid 30 sheets of stickers in 30 different books for children to find! :) How fun would it be to open up a book, either at home or the Library, and find a fun sheet of stickers for you! I would be thrilled! (Yes I am 14 and I love stickers) This is such a simple and easy to show God's love in a non threatening way.
Today I brought 15+ homemade joke books to the local hospital! :) The receptionist in the office where I left them, was so sweet and thought it was so nice. It brightened her day, my day, and it will continue to brighten many children who come in for an appointment and might need a joke or a sticker (in the back of each book!). Don't you think so? :) It is so fun and easy to show God's love. It doesn't take much. <3Do you think you could do something like this? I bet you could and it would make so many people happy! Don't be afraid to show God's love!!
I recently made 30 coloring and activity books for a local soup kitchen! They make Christmas bags for the children that come and these will be included! :) The lady who was there collecting them from me, was SO SO happy, grateful, and nice! It made my day to make hers. <3 This was overall a very cheap project and it was easy. I found some things online, put it together on Word Doc., added some "special effects", and printed! Super easy peasy. Then bought a couple packs of 48 crayons for $1 a box, put in individual bags, and I was done! Didn't cost very much, easy, fun and heartfelt for the kids. :) Makes me happy. Now I want to challenge you! Find a local soup kitchen or even a shelter, make some books, buy some crayons, and make lots of kids happy! :) You could even gather some friends to help you! AND... If it makes it even more easier, hit the button below to find the pages I printed! (If you are creative, you might want to design your own. but if not.. :))
If you did this project or anything for that matter, I'd love to hear about it in the comments below or under the "Contact" tab. :) Thank you! I will be blogging updates and such on my personal blog HERE :) Today I decided to look up how many Police Officers have been shot in 2016... I was saddened to learn that according to gunviolencearchive.org, as of Nov. 9 2016, 279 Law enforcement officers have been shot or killed.... REALLY? 279 people have laid down their lives to protect us! Why does that go unnoticed?!? A couple more facts I found out were: on average, one law enforcement officer is killed in the line of duty somewhere in the United States every 61 hours. Every 61 hours people!! Also, since the first known line-of-duty death in 1791, more than 20,000 officers have made the ultimate sacrifice... When I learned all of this, I felt God lay on my heart to do something to bring smiles and love to Police Officers instead of what they usually face. So here is what we came up with. Presenting..... *drum roll "279 Acts for Heroes" (use #279acts on social media) Here is what I propose. Together, you and I are going to complete 279 acts of kindness for Law Enforcement Officers! We can bring love to them instead of hate. They serve us and keep us safe. They have laid down their lives! How can we not appreciate them? Do you think we can do this? I believe with God's help we can!! Anything you can do for your local Police Officers will be appreciated. Bring them donuts, healthy treats, handmade thank you cards, flowers, and anything else you can think of! When you do something please email me and I will add it to the list below. 279 is big number. but I believe that with God, we can complete this big project! Also please share this on social media or anywhere you can! Please spread the word! #279acts READY? Can we do this? Yes we can! :) (you are welcome to print and use the card below to go with your acts of kindness for police officers) More ideas HERE. 257 acts of kindness left to complete #1. I appreciate all you do! :) ************************************************************** Do you want to help with a project like this? Contact me under the "Contact" tab and we can chat :) Do you know someone who could use a blessing and some love? Again, contact me under the "Contact" tab! If you have any questions or just want to say hi, you guessed it, contact me under the "Contact" tab! :) I would love to meet you! Have a great day everyone! <3 Anna Today I blessed to be able to bring this wonderful gift basket to the local Police Officers in my community! I filled this basket with some semi healthy treats ;) and some beautiful colored pictures by the children I watch every Thursday morning. I gave it the receptionist at the police station and she said simply loved it and said the guys in back would too!! :) If you have ever given someone something or done an act of kindness, you know that feeling of pure joy you receive! I would rather be the giver than the receiver for that reason. For the feeling you get for giving that is greater than the feeling when you are gifted. You should know what I'm talking about. When you can't stop smiling, your heart is full of joy, and you want to do it all over again! If you don't know what I'm talking about, bake some cookies and bring them to your neighbor. For no reason at all. Then tell me if you know that feeling. :) Shout out thank you to my grandmother! This basket would not have been made possible without her! <3
